I want to connect to a client VPN server at
another place from my company network. I am
connected to the internet through the LAN (proxy).
Is it possible to use the existing internet access
to use VPN or should I go for a dial-up? Can you
clarify pl.? |

Raj, You can use the
internet access from the
VPN. One thing to
consider is your
companies policy on
Internet usage. I've done
some consulting for the
U.S. Government and they
have very strict rules
about acceptable usage
when using a Government
IP address and cruising
the Web. Basically, if
you are looking at kiddie
porn or commiting fraud
on the Net, your company
will not be happy that
you are using their IP
address as a starting
point. Just keep in
mind that you are
basically at work when
you're searching the Web
via the
VPN.
