I have W2K Pro running on my laptop. I wish to set up a VPN back to my office. I use a cable modem at home and do not have to dial-up. I must get into my office through a firewall. Every time I try to set up the VPN in Windows and try to connect I get a message that says there was no answer. I am not using a phone number, but an IP address. Why is this not working? Thanks for any help.

What type of VPN solution do you have setup in the office? Are you using Win2K Pro in the office?
