I am looking for a VPN solution for site-to-site
connnection and remote access. The site-to-site is
the Frame Relay connection. The remote access is
through the Internet. Is it possible to use VPN
over the Frame Relay? If so, which brand of VPN
device should I use? Any suggestion would be
appreciated. Thanks! |

Frank, First of all,
the most common thing
that people do here is to
replace the Frame Relay
with a VPN. What kind of
applications/resources
are you running over the
Frame Relay that you'd
like to run over a
VPN? Also, what kind
of bandwidth do you have
at the various
sites? Here are some
other pertinent questions
when deciding what kind
of solution to put in
place: # sites? #
remote users? existing
routers/firewalls? str
ong
authentication/username
password? current
authentication
system?
once
you've answered these
questions, we can start
to narrow down the field
of
options.
