Hi, i'm struggling to create a VPN connection to
a Cisco 3000 Conc. from XP - It works beautifully
in Win2K but when i try to connect using XP, the
client is rejected with various error messages -
depending on which setting i change, but the cisco
3000 conc. says 'invalid length control message'
in the log. Any Clues? |

Paul,
Not enough
info? Are you using the
Cisco Client? If not you
should be. Don't even
bother with PPTP or L2TP
to a concentrator. And
IPSEC VPN to a
concentrator is basically
a site to site VPN.
Bottom line use
the client. If you
are using the Cisco
Client then verify that
the version you are
using supports WIN XP.
Cisco VPN client Ver.
3.5.1 is the
XP client.
