(Sorry for my english, I'll do it my
best)
I've been trying to develope a VPN
between two ADSL internet connections in two
different places, with the following
scenario:
Commercial office: -
100/10 Mb LAN with Win2k proffesional
workstations - Win2k Server - ADSL
modem (256/128)internet
connection Technical office: idem but a
different ISP.
I experiment certain
problems when connecting to the VPN server from
both sides, it works in the afternoon, not in the
morning and things like that.
My first
question is: Is the VPN service ISP or time
dependent? I know it's a bit stupid question
but...
My second question is: When I
finally connect both servers, I cannot see the
other computers in my neighbourhood, but I can
find them if I search for any computer so I now
they're somewhere. Is there any way of seeing
every computer in the VPN in the network
neighbourhood? and, if it's posible, can I keep
WORKGROUPS in VPN connections?
I really
would appreciate any help about it. |
