Zyxel 650 HW VPN Office to home
----------
Hi,

I'm new to these forums and new to VPNs, although I have had a functioning XP to XP vpn set up previously using just M$ software.

I now have a Zyxel VPN endpoint router, I need to connect from my office to home. The VPN router is at home, office is behind a zoom dsl modem that support IPSec pass through.

I have followed the guide here »www.zyxel.com/support/su pportnote/P662.. and although its not the exact router all the screens look identical.

In the VPN log, I can see the following:

Recv Main Mode Request from (office IP)
Revc: [SA] [VID]
Send: [SA] [VID]
Recv: [KE] [NONCE]
Send: [KE] [NONCE]
Recv: [ID] [HASH] [NOTIFY:INIT_CONTACT]
Send: [ID] [HASH] [NOTIFY:INIT_CONTACT]
Recv: [HASH] [SA] [NONCE] [ID] [ID]
Start Phase 2: Quick Mode
!! No Proposal chosen
Send: [HASH] [NOTFY:NO_PROP_CHOSEN]
Send: [HASH] [DEL]

Then the connection is lost. I've read the manual til my eyes bleed, searched the web but just cant find what I'm doing wrong. The difficulty is the office and the house are 15 miles apart, so its difficult to make changes and test.

I hope someone can point me in the right direction.

Thanks for your attention.

Regards ,

Rob
