network, do you get
assigned an IP address by
that server? Is there a
way to find out what this
IP is? I'm able to VPN
into the server, but I
don't know how to get my
programs to recognize my
IP on the server, and not
the IP assigned to me by
my ISP... Anyone care to
help a newbie
out?

are you using? I've
never ran into that
problem. From an
administration standpoint
you can see the IP
address the VPN tunnel is
starting and ending
at. Even if you are
using NAT or a dynamic IP
address, the VPN tunnel
needs to "lock on" to an
IP address.
