grade VPN aggregator that
can route based on
802.1q. Supports at a
minimum 5000 simultaneous
active sessions. Supports
all the standard
encryption (3DES, etc.)
and IPSec protocols. Fast
Ethernet or higher ports.
Anyone? | christian Member since: 2001-11-20 10:00:00 | posted: 2001-11-28 13:07:29 RE: VPN with 802.1q ---------- Hi Paul,
The
products you want to
compare are:
(1)
N
etScreen 1000 (2)
C
isco PIX 535 (3)
Nortel Contivity
4500 (4) Nok
ia IP740 (runs
Checkpoint)
The
only one that has
built-in 802.1q
capability is the
NetScreen. Cisco,
Nortel, and
Nokia/Checkpoint do not.
However, you could always
use a seperate server for
the vlans! |
