VPN problem connecting
----------
Hi, I'm not the most technically savvy person around so please try to follow me.

Here is the scoop.

I have Broadband hooked up to a LinkSys WRT54GS with SpeedBooster router. From that router, I have a desktop wired to it as well as a laptop that uses wireless.

Yesterda y, I updated the security on the router. I have a unique SSID and password. I have WPA2 password protection. I have the MAC set up so it only recognizes my laptop. I also enabled file sharing and printer sharing so I can use the printer that is connected to the desktop.

Now I keep getting a window that pops up that tries to dial the VPN. It has my name and asks for a password. I have no idea what that password is. If I click connect, it tries to dial and then I get "800 Unable to establish the VPN connection. The VPN server may be unreachable, or security parameters may not be configured properly for this connection"

From what I understand, and remember that I am not very smart when it comes to this sort of thing, is a VPN is used to connect my network (my desktop and laptop) to another person's network.

The problem comes in because I have no other network to connect to.

Could anyone help?
