VPN over proxy

hello! i am at
university, i am
connected via a proxy
server, i think the
servers are linux if that
is any use...and i only
have port 80 and port 443
open! is it possible to
set up a VPN over this
network? also if i do set
up a VPN, can i connect
my xbox from university
thtough my home network
to the internet? thanks
