VPN client >> server setup help
----------
I have SOHO in Australia and one in UK. Both offices have BB connection to internet with

different ISP's in each country. Iam new to VPN technology but am interested in utilizing it for

secure flexibility.

Each office has LAN (wired) behind firewalled-routers. Both routers have NAT firewalls active.

Office 1 router is Thompsons Speedtouch 510 v4 4 port router with DHCP service running for LAN.

Office 2 uses D-Link 504 4 port router with VPN passthru capability and DHCP service running for

its LAN. Office 2 is running win2000 Adv server (as end point) with remote access service

activated (using default settings) and default authentication. This is the only service running on

the server. Office 1 has desktop running winXP Home and a VPN client has been setup to make

connection via VPN using the built in client in XP. (the settings for client were entered

successfully). Office 1 router does not have VPN pass thru however the VPN port 1723 has been

opened in the router port forwarding configuration.

Sonario-> I want office 1 to connect to office 2 via client server setup not site 2 site.

office 1 LAN>>Router>>UK ISP>>INTERNET>>Australian ISP>>Router>>office 2 LAN>> win2000Adv server.

Q1> Will this work or do I need another VPN passthru router for office 1.
Q>2 When the client tried to connect he received the following message : Open BB connection error

678 signal.
