games? ---------- Hey. I was wondering if
it was possible to link
two computers VIA a VPN
and be able to play games
useing "LAN" type play.
Instead of using direct
ip or their connection
server.
So
basicly... is it possible
to trick the game into
thinking its playing a
LAN game but REALLY
playing on a internet
VPN? | DoTheDEW Member since: 2005-03-09 08:02:11 | posted: 2005-03-09 08:11:09 VPN Lan Party ---------- It's being done all over
the place. I have yet to
pinpoint an easy/free
solution to do this.. I
had setup a Windows 2000
Server with Routing and
Remote Access setup as a
VPN and was able to
connect from outside
sources but it didn't
route IPX correctly. (I
have no idea how to do
it) But if you found a
way to do this let me
know. I have been looking
for ages on how to setup
VPN server that isn't
complicated. |
