Desktop ---------- I have been using remote
desktop via the LAN as
well as WAN with no
problems as I have the
port forwarding set in
both routers at both
locations. I also have a
vpn on the server at what
I will call A LAN. B Lan
connects to the A LAN
just fine via the VPN. I
also have been using SSH
to GET and PUT files on
and between each of the
LAN's. I have now
implemented secure remote
desktop via SSH and Putty
and everything works fine
untill I try and use
putty and ssh to remote
desktop outside LAN A to
LAN B. I can remote
desktop in without Putty
and SSH creating the
tunnel though. I am at
LAN B now and when I
connect to LAN A thruogh
the VPN client to the VPN
server located on LAN A,
I can then and only then
use ssh and Putty to
securely remote desktop
in. Is this supposed to
work only with a vpn? Any
help would be great.
Thanks in advance. |
