Assuming you
want to connect to your
office PC from home, you
will need to make some
modifications to your
office NAT/firewall. The
port used by your VPN
software needs to be
redirected to your office
PC IP address. HOwever,
if you work at a larger
company, this may not be
feasible (imagine if all
employees made the same
request...) You may
want to look into a
commercial solution
whereby both PCs log onto
an internet server where
the link is established.
(VNC style), like
webex. You could also
attempt using DynDNS but
you would still need your
office admin to open the
necessary
ports.
Vice versa,
you will be able to
control your home
NAT/firewall and should
be able to achieve this
without problems.
