VPN Close

Hi.. This is not so much
a problem with a VPN as a
problem with why it is
closing.
We have VPN
to a local authority that
has been ok upto 10 days
ago when exactly 10
minutes after opening it
closes. This happens
every time.
The VPN
has no time outs this end
or the other. Looking at
RegMon there seems to be
a polite request from the
local pc to close the
tunnel. Are there any
processes that run every
10 minutes in XP
Below
is the Regmon Log. The
tunnel shuts down at item
89364.
Any
ideas.

I am not an expert but it
looks llike you are not
finding the DHCP server
when the tunnel is open.
I would recheck the
settings and if you have
any good IT people you
know, have them check the
system. |
