VPN on Windows 2000
Professional ---------- 1. There's a Windows 2000
Professional that hooks
up to the network that's
unable to connect to ANY
vpn clients. Getting
Error 721: The remote
computer is not
responding. There is no
problem w/ dial up
clients. This is the only
computer having this
problem on the
network.
2. All
the Windows 2000
Professional workstations
are unable to make a vpn
connection to a
PARTICULAR vpn client.
Whereas vpn connection
does work for other
clients. Odd thing is
that all the Windows 98
and XP Prof machines
aren't having any
problems.
The
machines having vpn
connection problems are
up to date w/ patches and
services packs.
Is there
something in Windows 2k
Prof ASIDE from removing
and adding default
Gateway that could be
changed? Also, is there a
backdoor to creating vpn
connections other than
going through the
connection wizard
interface?
Any
help would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks! |
