T-1 /DSL/Dial-up
----------
I am trying to setup a vpn for a small business for remote users. We currently have a NT 4 server that is only connected to our LAN. We are in the process of getting a dedicated T-1 that will go through a router and then through our NT 4 server. This hopefully will allow us to host our own website, e-mail, and vpn server. In regards to setting up a VPN server for NT 4, we would like to allow remote users to access our network and use it to retrieve e-mail, files off the NT Server, and login into a Unix server for some applications. Right now, users must dial two different numbers to access each server. RAS is setup on the NT server. My questions are as follows:
1. How should I setup a VPN to allow users to login through the NT 4 server and access the unix server?
2. What hardware and software should I consider buying? I am looking for a low cost solution that provides firewall, virus, and VPN for roughly 30 remote users.
3. Is it possible to allow users to access the server over the T-1 using a DSL connection from home?
4. Is it possible to allow users to access the server over the T-1 using dial-up internet access from home?

Thanks for the help!!

You should probably go with a pix515. This will allow you to have 3 interfaces, one inside, one outside, and one dmz, for your e-mail server.
The pix will give you vpn, and firewall functionality. It will not give you virus protection. You'll probably have to do this on each host, along with a software firewall on each host. Cisco's vpn client will allow users to connect either through dial-up, or dsl, or cable. This probably isn't the low cost solution you are looking for though.
