Router on home network ---------- I have set up my server
(2003) using rras with
two NICS. I have set the
Linksys router to NAT to
the local IP address of
192.168.1.4. the second
nic is 192.168.1.6. It is
handing out IP scope
within the same sunbet
address. It works on the
LAN but not outside the
LAN. I have opened up
PPTP passthrough on the
router. I have setup pptp
and gre protocol within
RRAS. If I go to
www.canyouseeme.org I get
a connection timed out
when checking port 1723
(PPTP). I have even
created just a regular
generic VPN connection
after stoping RRAS just
to get a simpler method
for now for a VPN
connect. I am not sure
why I am not getting
passthrough from the
router. I have the latest
firmware upgrade and
Comcast says they do not
block VPN traffic. |
