Router ---------- Using Windows XP VPN
client to VPN into work.
When physically bypassing
the router (Dlink 604
rev.e) I don't have any
problems. But when I
connect through the
router, my connection
drops after 6-13 minutes.
I have PPTP
passthrough enabled and
have opened ports 500 and
1723 (IPSEC and PPTP). I
have the traffic routed
to my statically assigned
IP (which isn't in the
same subnet as my VPN
IP).
I've also
tried placing the machine
in the DMZ with no
success.
I've had
several conversations
with IT from my work and
from Dlink and everything
"looks" okay.
Any
ideas? Thanks! |
