options open ---------- I am faced with the
following challenge: We
monitor critical systems
at customer locations.
Currently we use a number
of leased lines. However,
with VPN becoming an
ption I am looking at
that to replace the
lines, which are quite
expensive.
The
problem is that one
customer uses a
Checkpoint firewall,
another uses MS ISA
server, yet another uses
Cisco. OUr router is a
Cisco 1605 with a Lucent
firewall.
On top
of this, I need to keep
other options open for
future customers, who
could be using
anything.
What
would be a wise choice to
go with. We can have our
customers do a minimal
investment if needed in a
router or something but
strongly prefer not to. |
