PHONE OVER REMOTE VPN, I
DON'T LIKE SOFTPHONE? |

phone over remote VPN, I
don't like softphone? ---------- I just recently closed
our Data Center and now I
work from home using a
remote vpn connection
using AT&T Global Network
Client. Everything works
great and happy with the
connection. The only
thing that I don't like
is the loss of my Cisco
IP 7960 phone. I do have
the Cisco IP Communicator
allowing me to use the
softphone, but I am not
happy with it. There is
some kind of delay as we
tend to interupt each
other all the time. I am
able to establish a vpn
connection on each of my
computers allowing me to
use multiple computers on
our network.
Is
there anyway, either
using hardware or
software to use my Cisco
7960 IP phone through the
remote vpn so I don't
have to use the
softphone?
Maybe
you don't know but could
point me in another
direction, I would
appreciate it. |
