Enterasys Aurorean AGN-1102 VPN router
----------
I wrote a really long summary of my problem... but unfortunately I lost it because my login timed out or something when I went to Add the topic.

So, instead of rewriting it, I will give you a brief summary of my problem, user guide information.

I basically have never set up peer to peer VPN. I know what it involves, but I am just not sure what values need to be entered where. I have set it up so that my internet works on both ends, but they still can't communicate.

Here is the user guide for the routers:

http://ww w.enterasys.com/support/m anuals/hardware/3734_01.p df

http://www.ente rasys.com/support/relnote s/AVN-UGK-350-rel.pdf

I can find almost no documentation on how to set up peer to peer with these routers. In the the last link on page 19 or so there is a very vague description on how.

I am using a road runner business line on both ends. I have gotten the information on how to set up my Internet connections from them.

On the VPN set up page there is a password field (I am guessing is where the preshared key goes although no one at enterasys knew and neither did the manual). This router also uses "EZ-IPsec" which is a proprietary technolgy that is supposed to make the connection easier. These were provided by my cable company and I don't believe they block port 500. I did try PPTP but no luck there either.

I basically just need a summary of what values go where and why if someone would be kind enough to do that.

Thanks a lot!
