XP & Linksys
----------
I am using win XP pro and server2003.
I was able to create a vpn from XP Pro to my server behind a Linksys BEFSR41 router by changing these router settings:
1.Disabling the BLOCK WAN REQUEST setting.
2.On the Advancd Tab>Port Forwarding:
ext port:1723 to 1723>TCP(checked)>IP(my server lan static IP:192.168.1.2)>
check the ENABLE box.
3.Create a user with remote connection permission on the server.
4. Create VPN connection on client with
the WAN IP of your router(I have a dynamic ip from my isp),enter username and pw.BINGO!

I am having the same problem. I can establish a connection when I am local to the 2003 server, but I cannot when I am connecting remotely. I've got all those same settings in the Linksys Router, but it's still not working. Do you have any further suggestions.
