problem from server to
client ---------- I have local network with
ip(s) 192.168.1.x, and i
am creating VPN of RAS-
Remote Access Service
(window server 2003) of
ip range from 10.0.0.10 -
10.0.0.255. Local network
clients are connecting to
vpn correctly.
The problem is
that when i want to
broadcast the message to
vpn network (from any
client) by sending
through broadcast ip of
10.0.0.255 it is not
working, nothig is
receiving by any client
of vpn except server. And
when i broadcast from
server to clients, if
there is one client that
client receives the
server message but if
there is more than one
client nothing is
receiving to any
client.
But if
used 255.255.255.255 (
broadcast ip of
192.168.1.x and 10.0.0.x
network too) all clients
and a server receives the
message.
What is
the problem with
10.0.0.255 while it is
broadcast ip of vpn
network.
I want
simple that when server
broadcast the message,
all client should receive
the server message.
please help, may
be any problem in RAS vpn
cofiguration so please
refer any
configuration. And
what is the procedure for
multicasting to send
message over vpn?
